Creadores de grandes himnos de la música electrónica como ‘Howl At The Moon’, ‘Harmony’, ‘Time Is On Your Side’ o ‘Where Are You Now’, Stadiumx llevan en la escena internacional casi siete años, ofreciendo a sus seguidores un progressive house melódico y vocal de calidad. El dúo húngaro ha colaborado con artistas de renombre como Nicky Romero y ha pasado por numerosos sellos de primer nivel como Spinnin’ Records, Protocol, Hexagon, Doorn o Hysteria, muestra de una carrera prometedora.
Tras estos siete años de éxitos, estos artistas han decidido dar un paso más adelante y crear su propio sello, Sub Religion Records, con el que tratarán de llevar su propia línea musical. Pero este estreno no viene solo, si no que un nuevo lanzamiento sirve de pistoletazo de salida para el sello, y para ello han contado con un vocalista de leyenda, como es Sam Martin. Tras haber trabajado con el estadounidense en anteriores ocasiones, ‘Be Mine’ es el nuevo trabajo de Stadiumx junto al vocalista de grandes tracks como ‘Lovers On The Sun’ o ‘Love You Forever’. Otra pieza más en la carrera de Stadiumx que, junto al estreno de Sub Religion Records, supondrá un punto de inflexión para los húngaros.
Con motivo de este acontecimiento, hemos tenido la oportunidad de charlar con estos grandes artistas en un Q&A que os ofrecemos a continuación:

Wololo Sound: Hola, chicos. Es un placer para nosotros teneros en este Q&A para hablar de vuestro nuevo sello, Sub Religion Records. Lleváis mucho tiempo en la escena de la música electrónica y habéis publicado vuestros trabajos en algunos de los mejores sellos, como Spinnin’, Protocol o Hexagon. ¿Por qué habéis decidido crear vuestro propio sello ahora?
Stadiumx: Hemos estado en la industria de la música durante un montón de tiempo y hasta ahora hemos estado principalmente ocupados con nuestro propio perfil, construyéndolo. La idea de tener un sello propio ha existido durante años y ha habido muchos momentos para hacerlo, pero no de la manera en que lo sentíamos o simplemente no teníamos el equipo y el momento adecuado para avanzar y hacer que ocurriera. A estas alturas, sentimos que era el momento de empezar algo nuevo y abrir un nuevo capítulo en nuestra vida.
Wololo Sound: La creación y el mantenimiento de un sello suele implicar mucho trabajo y tiempo, y requiere dedicación diaria y recursos. ¿Estáis rodeados de un equipo adecuado o lo estáis gestionando por vuestra cuenta?
Stadiumx: Esto es 100% cierto. La buena música no es suficiente para que una discográfica funcione correctamente, también se necesita un muy buen equipo. Afortunadamente, contamos con los mejores en esto y es gente que tiene mucha experiencia. Lo que también es muy importante es que todos se sienten como en casa con este proyecto, ya que necesitamos gente dedicada y que pueda trabajar en equipo para poder hacer realidad nuestra visión. Es algo esencial.
Wololo Sound: Habéis trabajado con diferentes artistas durante vuestra carrera musical. ¿Habéis pensado en algún artista que os gustaría que publicase su música en vuestro sello? ¿Estáis abiertos a publicar música de artistas no tan conocidos?
Stadiumx: Sí, por supuesto. Trabajamos en equipo y decidimos juntos a quién queremos firmar para el sello; esa es exactamente la razón por la que queríamos hacer nuestra propia discográfica. Conocemos y trabajamos con muchos artistas que no pueden recibir la atención y el apoyo que merecen y queremos hacer todo lo posible para cambiar eso y apoyarles.
Wololo Sound: Hablando de artistas de renombre, el que habéis elegido para colaborar en vuestro primer lanzamiento del sello, ‘Be Mine’, es Sam Martin. No es la primera vez que trabajáis juntos, así que suponemos que tenéis una buena relación con él. ¿Cómo es la experiencia de trabajar con una leyenda como él?
Stadiumx: Es una historia interesante porque conocimos a Sam cuando hicimos un remix para Sultan & Ned Shaperd hace años. Cuando recibimos los stems ya pensábamos que su voz era increíble. Por aquel entonces, desafortunadamente, no pudimos trabajar juntos pero más tarde pudimos hacer un remix para la canción de David Guetta ‘Lovers On The Sun’ que Sam también cantó y nos encantó trabajar en el tema. Entonces decidimos hacer una canción juntos, que fue ‘Love You Forever’ con Nicky Romero. Oficialmente esta es la segunda canción que hacemos juntos y es un sentimiento fantástico trabajar con él de nuevo.
Wololo Sound: ‘Be Mine’ es otro éxito de progressive house en vuestra carrera musical donde podemos notar vuestra experiencia y calidad en el estudio. ¿Qué nos podéis decir sobre él? ¿Será el modelo a seguir en vuestro nuevo sello o estáis abiertos a publicar otro tipo de música?
Stadiumx: No creemos que la fase creativa pueda funcionar basada en un modelo. Las emociones siempre han dominado nuestras canciones. Nos encantan las melodías, las canciones que tienen emoción pero también son energéticas. Pero no queremos repetirnos una y otra vez porque es importante poder renovarse como productor. De lo contrario, ya no es divertido hacer música. Para ello, es esencial que probemos cosas nuevas. El sonido más cercano a nosotros y al sello es el Future Progressive. ¡Nos gusta mucho este nuevo sonido!
Wololo Sound: Por último, teniendo en cuenta la situación mundial que estamos sufriendo, tenemos que haceros una pregunta obligatoria. ¿Cómo estáis llevando la cuarentena? ¿Hay algún inconveniente que hayáis encontrado para seguir trabajando en vuestra música?
Stadiumx: Por desgracia, este es un momento muy difícil para todo el mundo ahora mismo. Hay muchas preguntas de la gente, incluidos nosotros, que pensamos que son muy difíciles o imposibles de responder en este momento. Nosotros también tenemos dificultades, pero estamos tratando de hacer todo lo posible para sacar lo mejor de esta situación. Es muy importante ser positivo y prestar atención a los demás y por supuesto a nosotros mismos. Wololo Sound: Hello guys. It is a pleasure for us to have you in this little Q&A to speak about your new label, Sub Religion Records. You have been in the electronic music scene for a long time and you have released music in some of the best labels, such as Spinnin’, Protocol or Hexagon. Why have you decided to createyour own label now?
Stadiumx: We’ve been in the music industry for a long time and so far we’ve been primarily busy with our own profile and building it. The idea of an own label has been around for many years and there would have been many times to do it but not the way we felt it or we just didn’t have the right team and the right moment to move on and make it happen. By now, we felt it was time to start something new and open a new chapter in our life.
Wololo Sound: Creating and maintaining a label usually involves so much work and timeand it needs daily dedication and resources. Are you surrounded by a proper team or are you managing it on your own?
Stadiumx: This is 100% true. Good music is not enough for a label to work properly, but a very good team is also needed. Fortunately, we can work with the best team possible on this and with those who have very serious experience. And also very important is that everyone feels at home with this project. In order to realize our vision, we need people who are dedicated and can work in a team. This is essential.
Wololo Sound: You have worked with different artists during your music career. Have you thought of any artist that you would like to release their music on your label? Are you open to release music from not so well-known artists?
Stadiumx: Yes, of course. We work in a team and decide together who we want to sign to the label. That’s exactly the reason we wanted to make our own label. We know and work with many artists who can’t get the attention and support they deserve. We want to do everything we can to change that and support new artists.
Wololo Sound: Talking about renowned artists, the one you have chosen to collaborate with in your first label release, ‘Be Mine’, is Sam Martin. It is not your first time working together, so we suppose you have a good relationship with him. How is the experience of working with a legend like him?
Stadiumx: It’s an interesting story because we first met Sam’s name when we did a remix for Sultan & Ned Shaperd years ago. When we got the stems we already found his voice amazing. Back then, unfortunately we couldn’t work together but later we could do a remix for David Guetta’s song “Lovers On The Sun” which Sam also sang and we loved working on the song. Then we decided to do a song together. This became “Love You Forever” with Nicky Romero. So officially this is the second song we did together and it’s a fantastic feeling to work with him again.
Wololo Sound: ‘Be Mine’ is another progressive house hit in your music career where we can notice your experience and quality in the studio. What can you tell us about it? Is it going to be the model to be followed in your new label or are you open to release different kind of music?
Stadiumx: I don’t think the creative phase could work based on a model. Emotions have always dominated our songs. We love melodies, songs that have emotion but are also energetic. But we don’t want to repeat ourselves over and over again because it’s important to be able to renew as a producer. Otherwise it’s not fan to make music anymore. To do this, it’s essential that we try new things. The sound that will be closest to us and the label is the Future Progressive style. We dig this new sound!
Wololo Sound: Finally, keeping in mind the global situation we are suffering, we have to ask you a mandatory question. How are you dealing with the quarantine? Is there any inconvenience you have found to keep working on your music?
Stadiumx: Unfortunately this is a very difficult time for everyone in the world right now. There are many questions in people, inside us, that we find very difficult or impossible to answer at the moment. We have difficulties too but we are trying to do everything we can to get the best out of this situation. It’s very important to stay positive and pay attention to each other and of course to ourselves. Let’s not forget that these hard times are coming to an end soon and we will all party together again!
